KRISTIN BAUER
Kristin Bauer is a Cleveland area creative and marketing professional. She was named Ohio’s Best News Photographer in 2018, 2019 and 2021 by the Press Club of Cleveland at the Ohio Excellence in Journalism Awards. Her work has been recognized and honored by Photographers of the Year International, The William Randolph Hearst Foundation, The Associated Press of Ohio, The Society of Professional Journalists, The Ohio News Photographers Association, and she was included in The Big Picture: The Boston Globe's Most Influential Photographers Under 25.
Kristin is currently a staff photographer at The Chronicle-Telegram, where she has worked since 2013, and co-founder of Lake Erie Photo Co. She studied both Photojournalism and Visual Communication Design at Kent State University, located in Kent, Ohio, and Integrated Communications and Marketing at West Virginia University, located in Morgantown, West Virginia. Kristin holds both a Bachelors and Masters degree.
Kristin is currently based in Cleveland, Ohio.
